What more derisory, more humble but a needle or a pin ? Yet, in the heart of Normandy lies in the middle of nowhere the last European factory, continuing the tradition formerly dedicated to this type of fabrication.
Some of the machines date back to the middle of the 19th century and the fabrication process has been described in Diderot’s Encyclopedia ! From 2015, the public is allowed to visit the working factory and then go to the Museum, with a particularly pricking content !
