The monument to the dead of the city of Chalon-sur-Saône
is erected on
the esplanade Legion of Honor, in front of Gambetta’s quay. It commemorates and honors the soldiers of the First and Second World Wars, Indochina, Korea and Algeria conflicts
The Gambetta quay is currently being redeveloped. The city wishes to integrate mediation devices to transmit and reveal the history commemorated by the monument.
The project runs from the Gambetta quay, the landing zone, to the war memorial. The treated zone is broken down in the following way: the war memorial, the esplanade at the foot of the monument, the Gambetta quay, landing zone, and the monument.
